About Pooja N. Pandit, MD

Dr. Pooja Pandit is a specialty care physician board certified in critical care medicine, internal medicine and pulmonary disease at Inova Health System. She joined Inova after completing her pulmonary and critical care fellowship in 2021 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, where she also served as chief fellow.

Dr. Pandit’s clinical areas of interest include acute respiratory distress syndrome, asthma and pulmonary disorders in pregnant patients. She is dedicated to promoting gender equity within medicine and medical education. She is active in the American College of Chest Physicians and serves on the association’s women's lung health subcommittee. She is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society and has won several patient care awards during her training. Dr. Pandit’s patients say that she is a knowledgeable and caring physician who goes above and beyond every time.

Outside the office, Dr. Pandit enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with her husband and son.
