Dr. Rachel Casey, MD, MBA, is the Section Chief for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology and the Director of Ambulatory Clinical Excellence for the pediatric service line at Inova. She is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with a focused practice designation in pediatric and adolescent gynecology and recently earned her Master of Business Administration.

Dr. Casey holds leadership positions within the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.

She has a special interest in collaborative, multidisciplinary care, working closely with other specialties to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to patients and their families. Dr. Casey is also deeply invested in advancing the transition of care from pediatric to adult health services, strengthening collaboration with community pediatric practices, and developing cohesive, evidence-based guidance across the health system.

In addition to her dedication to patient care, Dr. Casey is a passionate educator and advocate for the health of women and children. She actively facilitates community events and contributes to national healthcare initiatives. She feels honored to care for young women and is committed to supporting them at every stage through education, advocacy, and leadership.

A native of New Orleans, Dr. Casey is an avid music lover and a classically trained singer who studied vocal arts at the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts. She credits her experiences performing in New Orleans with fostering her passion for community engagement and public speaking. Northern Virginia is now home to her and her family, which includes her husband and their three children.
