About Ramon R. Blanco, MD

Dr. Ramon Blanco is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine. He joined Inova Primary Care with more than seven years of clinical experience. His special interests include the management of hypertension, diabetes, and geriatric conditions.

Most recently, Dr. Blanco served as a Geriatric Fellow at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.

Dr. Blanco became interested in primary care because he believes in preventive medicine and being the first point of contact with regard to patients’ health. His goal is to help his patients stay healthy and reduce unnecessary emergency department visits and hospitalizations, while creating relationships with patients and their families.

Originally from the Houston, TX area, Dr. Blanco currently resides in Vienna, VA with his wife and children. In his spare time he likes sports, spending time with family, and cooking and grilling.
