Sarah Musa is a women’s health nurse practitioner and holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. She joined Inova in 2025 and has been practicing as a nurse since 2023.

Prior to joining Inova, Sarah was a women’s health nurse practitioner at Baltimore Medical Systems.

Sarah’s nursing background includes geriatrics, postpartum, and labor and delivery. She is passionate about providing care to women during their pregnancy journey and educating them on what to expect as they transition towards parenthood. She enjoys working with patients during their various stages of life from puberty to menopause.

Sarah is passionate about breastfeeding and is an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE). Sarah is the author of the Provider Prenatal Breastfeeding Education Guidebook, which serves as a guide for providers to implement breastfeeding education during prenatal visits. She enjoys serving the underserved population and aims to empower, educate, and equip her patients with the information and resources to enable them to reach their optimal wellness.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys writing, watching comedy, and spending time with family.
