Dr. Seema Nair is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine. She joined Inova in 2026 and has been practicing since 2005.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Nair was a family medicine physician at Fairfax Health Center in Fairfax, VA.

Dr. Nair is inspired by the lifelong learning that medicine offers and by the complexity of the human body. She is especially motivated by cases that require thoughtful evaluation and collaboration with specialists to better understand underlying causes and guide treatment. She encourages patients to take an active role in their care, believing that strong patient engagement and shared decision-making are essential to improving outcomes and supporting long-term health.

Dr. Nair is committed to building strong partnerships with patients and supporting their health both inside and outside the office. She values community outreach and welcomes opportunities to serve through initiatives such as community health fairs, sports physicals and other educational efforts that promote prevention and wellness. She believes these connections help patients better understand their care and make informed decisions about their health. Her commitment to service also includes volunteer work during Hurricane Katrina relief efforts, reflecting her dedication to caring for others wherever she is needed.
