Stacy Stavlund is a certified nurse midwife (CNM) at Inova Health System. She joins Inova with more than 22 years in clinical obstetric nursing and more than six years as a CNM. She offers OB/GYN care across the lifespan, from obstetric support during the childbearing years to women’s health through the seasons from puberty to menopause. Stacy’s specialties include routine GYN health maintenance exams, contraception, menstrual concerns, concern for infections of the gynecologic and urinary tract, and routine obstetric and postpartum care.  Her clinical areas of interest include preventing the primary cesarean section and supporting normal physiologic birth and vaginal birth after a C-section.

Stacy believes that it is essential for OB/GYN care to be a true partnership between the individual and the provider, and she enjoys helping people achieve their goals for wellness through health promotion and shared decision making.  She is committed to providing a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approach for all.

Stacy currently resides in Falls Church, VA, with her family. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling and exploring, learning about different cultures and their foods, hiking, camping, and painting.
