About Stephen Gaeta, MD, PhD
Dr. Stephen Gaeta is a specialty care physician board certified in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. He joined Inova Medical Group from Duke University Medical Center with eight years of clinical experience. He has a special interest in the management of heart rhythm disorders, including atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), ventricular tachycardia (VT) and premature ventricular contractions (PVCs). At Inova, Dr. Gaeta serves as the Director of Electrophysiology Outreach, which focuses on bringing needed cardiac care to the underserved areas in our region.
Dr. Gaeta is passionate about electrophysiology as an opportunity to use his unique background to help others with disabling or life-threatening heart conditions. A native of Wisconsin, he currently resides in McLean, Virginia, with his wife and two children. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar and reading.
