About Vishishya Bhatnagar, MD

Dr. Vishishya Bhatnagar is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine. She began practicing and joined Inova in 2026.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Bhatnagar completed her undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech, majoring in microbiology, and received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. Dr. Bhatnagar served as the chief resident from 2025 to 2026.

Dr. Bhatnagar’s clinical areas of interest include women's health, pediatrics, preventive care, chronic disease management (such as diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disease, asthma/COPD), education and procedures such as joint injections.

Dr. Bhatnagar enjoys caring for patients of all ages, from newborns and young adults to older adults. She believes in listening to her patients to learn how she can best support their goals and empower them with knowledge to make decisions about their health. She strives to build lasting relationships with her patients and provide empathetic support throughout every stage of life.

In her free time, Dr. Bhatnagar enjoys dancing, practicing artistic makeup, reading, watching movies and spending time with family and friends.
