About Yasir A. Abdul-Rahman, DO

Dr. Yasir Abdul-Rahman is a primary care physician. He prides himself in the "whole-person" approach to treating patients. Dr. Abdul-Rahman joined Inova Health System in 2020. He has a special interest in preventive health, men's and women's health, hypertension, diabetes, stress management, osteopathic manipulative medicine and sports medicine.

Dr. Abdul-Rahman became interested in family medicine because he wanted to be on the front lines of preventing chronic disease and ensuring a healthy future for his patients. He enjoys the full spectrum of family medicine to include care for infants, children and adults. His goal is to give each patient a treatment plan he would give his family.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling and watching sports of all types.
