About Zackaria Niazi, DO

Dr. Zackaria Niazi is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. He joined Inova in 2026 and has been practicing since 2023.

Dr. Niazi completed his undergraduate studies at Virginia Commonwealth University and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his family medicine residency training at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago.

A native of Northern Virginia, Dr. Niazi is proud to return home and serve the community where he was raised. His clinical interests include the management of chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes, obesity medicine, OMT, inclusive and affirming care for diverse patient populations and preventive care. He strives to provide culturally sensitive, comprehensive care while building meaningful partnerships with his patients to support their long-term health and wellbeing.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Niazi enjoys cooking and baking, going to the gym, biking and traveling. He especially enjoys exploring new cultures and experiences.
