To facilitate the relocation of the hospital from its current location to WestEnd, Inova plans to work with the community as it moves forward with a request to rezone the existing hospital site at Seminary Road for townhouse and single-family use.

Honoring Alexandria’s legacy

With roots dating back over 150 years, the new campus continues the proud tradition established by Julia Johns and the Board of Lady Managers, who founded the Alexandria Infirmary. In recognition of this legacy, the campus includes Julia Johns Road as a tribute to the community-driven spirit that has always defined Alexandria Hospital.
