The goal of the Inova Headache Program is to decrease your headaches overall and to help you manage them when they do occur. Our experts will conduct a comprehensive medical evaluation to diagnose your headache type, order additional testing if appropriate, and provide a personalized plan that targets the underlying physical, psychological, and environmental contributors to your headaches.

Should You Be Seen by a Headache Specialist?

While headaches are common, frequent and/or severe headaches are not. If you have frequent or severe headaches, a medical evaluation by our team of headache specialists can help identify your headache type, rule out other conditions that may be making headaches worse, and develop an effective treatment plan.
