What to Expect

  • To prepare for your visit to Inova Schar Cancer Institute (ISCI), the new patient coordinator will request information from you, such as important labwork, radiology studies, and biopsy results. If your referring doctor is not associated with Inova, we will ask for the contact information for your doctor’s office.
  • In the days leading up to your visit to ISCI, our staff will call you with additional information.
  • After your meet with your ISCI doctor, the treatment recommendations are communicated to you and your referring doctor.
