About Allison N. Schneider, MD

Dr. Allison Schneider is a specialty care physician board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She joined Inova Health System in 2022 and has been practicing since 2016. The clinical areas of interest that Dr. Schneider manages most include prenatal care, high-risk pregnancy, maternal quality and safety, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, contraceptive care, and sexual health. She enjoys working with Spanish-speaking, LGBTQ+ and adolescent patient populations.

Dr. Schneider’s patient care philosophy includes learning about her patients’ lives, goals, values and past medical experiences to help them make the best decisions possible regarding their health. She hopes that every patient she sees feels listened to, cared for and empowered with information to achieve their health goals.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Schneider was a clinical instructor with the George Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Schneider is a musician, athlete, writer and mom of two daughters. She is passionate about reproductive health, health equity and reducing health disparities.
