You and your baby’s health and safety are very important and that cares continues after delivery. Please remember to make and keep all postpartum visits, newborn child visits, and vaccine visits for your child. The vaccination visits are most critical during the first year of life.

Inova Cares Clinic for Women
The Inova Cares Clinic for Women (ICCW) was created in 1960 to serve the uninsured women of Fairfax County. Since then, the program has also expanded to Loudoun County. Our teams offer a range of OB-GYN services and are proud to promote early and continuous prenatal care for their culturally diverse patient populations.
City of Alexandria
The newest ICCW clinic opened in the City of Alexandria in 2021 to serve residents of Alexandria and surrounding areas. The program is a service offered to the community in collaboration with the City of Alexandria Health Department, serving uninsured and low-income patients with household income up to 400 percent of the U.S. Federal Poverty Guidelines.
This clinic provides comprehensive outpatient obstetrical services and gynecological care as well as nonstress testing, all at little to no cost to the patient. Loop electrosurgical excision procedures and colposcopy procedures will be available in spring 2022.
Additionally, ICCW provides support services including radiology, laboratory, genetic testing, diabetes management, case management, social work, family planning and nutritional counseling. Some specialty services may require travel to ICCW’s Falls Church location.

Our Fairfax County clinics provide comprehensive outpatient obstetrical services and gynecological care as well as non-stress testing, LEEP and colposcopy procedures at little to no cost to the patient. We also offer specialty gynecological care, including maternal fetal medicine, Gyn/Onc and Uro/Gyn services.

Located on the Inova Loudoun Hospital Lansdowne medical campus, this clinic provides comprehensive obstetric care to county residents who are uninsured, have limited resources, or are insured by Medicaid. The clinic is staffed by a team of board-certified OB-GYN physicians and midwives who are bilingual (English/Spanish) and dedicated to serving our diverse community. Prenatal education classes are also offered.
This program is a service of Inova Loudoun Hospital and offered to the community in collaboration with the Loudoun County Health Department and HealthWorks for Northern Virginia. Certain eligibility information is required.

The importance of continuing to get vaccines
The pediatricians at the Inova Cares Clinic for Children and the Inova Cares Clinics for Families want to remind you that vaccinations are very important in protecting your child against infections that can cause very serious illness and even death in children, adolescents and young adults. You should also remember that for vaccines to be most effective your child should have received the complete series of doses for each vaccine at the appropriate ages, as recommended by the CDC.
Inova Health System is taking very strong measures to keep from spreading the virus in our offices. We, therefore, recommend that you call our clinics as soon as possible to make sure that your child is scheduled to receive all age appropriate immunizations.
Los pediatras de la Clínica Inova Cares para Niños y las Clínicas Inova Cares para Familias desean recordarle que reciviendo las prorgramada vacunas es muy importantes para proteger a su nino contra infecciones que pueden causar enfermedades muy graves o en casos muy seria muerte en niños, adolescentes y adultos jóvenes. También debe recordar que para que las vacunas sean más efectivas, su nino debería haber recibido la serie completa para cada vacuna a las edades apropiadas, según lo recomendado por el CDC.

What types of visits are we currently offering?
The Inova Cares Clinics for Women and Children are committed to you and your family's safety and well-being. We are taking extra precautions to ensure our clinics are safe during this pandemic. While we are continuing to see patients face to face as needed, we have also added a number of telemedicine visits which allow you to see a provider form the comfort of your home.
Children's Clinic: We are continuing to offer well child visits on a limited basis, sick visits, newborn visits, and all vaccine visits.
Las Clínicas InovaCares para Mujeres y Niños están comprometidas con la seguridad y el bienestar de usted y su familia. Estamos tomando precauciones adicionales para garantizar que nuestras clínicas estén seguras durante esta pandemia.
