The 2-day joint surgical specialty intern bootcamp at Inova Fairfax Hospital brings together new residents in general surgery, neurosurgery, obstetrics/gynecology, and podiatry. Procedural residents meet the faculty, see them modeling teamwork, and develop good relationships with all members of the care team. After bootcamp, Inova's surgical interns feel both competent and confident to hit the ground running on day one of their residency.
