Holiday hours

With the exception of Inova hospitals and Inova Emergency Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 25 and Thursday, Jan. 1. 

Some locations, including Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, have additional changes to their standard hours and can be viewed here. Please contact the location for more information.

Inova Surgical Critical Care Fellowship is a 12-month program consisting of the following rotations:

  • Surgical Critical Care Service (STICU), 8 months
  • Electives (4 months: 2 non ICU, 2 ICU)
  • Vacation: 4 weeks of paid time off, not to be taken on elective months

STICU

The STICU, comprised of the trauma/surgical critical care faculty, covers mainly the surgical and trauma ICU, but also provides consultation to patients in all other critical care units in the hospital. The STICU census runs at between 10 and 20 patients per day. The patient mix is mostly trauma, but also includes general surgery, vascular, thoracic, transplant, plastic surgery, maxillofacial, obstetrical and gynecological patients.
