Prince George's County

As the wellness program manager for Level Up, our employee wellness program, I strategize and plan several initiatives throughout the year. I always get excited when I need to explore the catalog of webinars made available by Inova Well. Whatever the theme for our initiative is, we are able to leverage endless topics with rich content and robust offerings. The wellness seminars always tie so well with our health awareness-related campaigns and meet our needs.

Given the continued toll the pandemic has had on our workforce and globally, the webinars are very relatable, intentional and current. These instructor-led webinars resonate with our workforce, and we continue to see engagement increase over time. We thank you for helping us meet employees where they are and encouraging them to elevate their total well-being.
Fairfax County Public Schools

Inova has been a supportive partner of FCPS for many years. Annually, they handle our flu clinics for about 200 different schools and worksites as well as biometric screenings that are held throughout the year for various work groups. They have always been “up to the task,” and that proved to be an understatement when the pandemic began. We were so happy to have virtual wellness classes set up so our first fitness class launched April 7, just three weeks after our schools closed and everyone began teleworking. We had six classes every week at various times throughout the day. Knowing how much time, effort and organization this takes, we really appreciated all the help we received. Jenna’s 10-minute workout was viewed thousands of times. Even I used it to recharge on many occasions.

In our ever-changing virtual work environment, the programs that Inova offers have allowed us to be able to adapt to the “new normal” and continue to offer wellness options to our employees, even if we are all not physically in one space.

The wide variety of programs that Inova offers elevates our company benefit offerings because we are able to touch on not only physical wellness, but also emotional/mental, intellectual, occupational and financial health. This is beneficial to our employees and has inspired and engaged the members of our organization to participate in classes, seminars and challenges, which in turn benefits their social well-being, too. When our employees participate in these programs, it allows them to socialize with coworkers in a virtual environment, even though we are spread out across the world. Social contact with coworkers has been cut short since the pandemic started, but our employees know they have several opportunities each month to connect through the Inova programs we share with them.

Inova Well provided our team with nine live, virtual wellness seminars in 2021. They were all conducted by experienced professionals who were extremely knowledgeable on the topics and were very informative and interactive. Our team members were able to interact with the speaker, as well as each other, throughout each seminar. Registration for the seminars was very easy, and our Inova representative provided the link to us 24 hours in advance for each seminar, which allowed me to communicate the information to our team. Our association is looking forward to seeing what Inova has to offer in 2022!
