About Dina Tabello, DO

Dr. Dina Tabello is a Trauma, Critical Care, and Acute Care Surgeon board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care. She joined Inova Medical Group with more than two years of clinical experience. Dr. Tabello has a special interest in the management of the acutely ill surgical patient.

Most recently Dr. Tabello completed her fellowship in Acute Care Surgery at the University of Connecticut.

Dr. Tabello became interested in Acute Care Surgery after joining Liga International, Flying Doctors of Mercy early on in her career. She flew with this nonprofit group to Sinaloa, Mexico on several medical missions. There, she saw firsthand the dramatic impact one can have on the lives of patients with acute surgical needs. Dr. Tabello’s goal is to help her patients and their families overcome their acute surgical needs.

A native of Southern California, Dr. Tabello enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with family and friends in her spare time.
