Dr. Emily Grodinsky is a vascular neurologist board certified in general neurology and vascular neurology at Inova Health System. Dr. Grodinsky serves part time as a neurohospitalist at Inova Alexandria Hospital seeing patients in the emergency room and hospital. She joined Inova Health System in 2021 after completing her fellowship in vascular neurology. Her specialties include general neurology and vascular (stroke) neurology.
Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Grodinsky completed her medical school training at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City, her neurology residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and her vascular neurology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Dr. Grodinsky is committed to providing compassionate care that balances evidence-based medical recommendations with the patient's preferences for treatment. She believes each patient has a unique clinical situation that requires a multidisciplinary care team willing to listen and devise an individualized treatment plan for that patient and the patient's family. Dr. Grodinsky feels privileged to provide care to such a diverse population of patients in Northern Virginia.
Dr. Grodinsky is an Assistant Professor of Medical Education in neurology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, Inova Campus.
Dr. Grodinsky lives in Northern Virginia with her husband. Her hobbies include enjoying delicious food with friends and family.
