Technology Learning Center (TLC)
 Your new source for clinical application training resources

What: TLC is a new Epic and clinical applications training site. Available as of May 1, this new intranet site offers ‘one stop shopping’ for training resources such as tip sheets, quick start guides, and videos.

Why: The TLC uses single sign on and is reachable inside and outside of Inova, using any device. Clinicians have been asking for an easier way to find Epic Tup Sheets and videos as well as other clinical documentation. The TLC delivers on this request with designated sections for physicians looking for quick updates.

Tools requiring remote access

Referring Physician PACS Access 

Provides remote access to the Inova Radiology system for authorized referring physicians and business partners. 
Note: This access method requires a connection client.

Inova supported configuration for remote access:

  • Windows 7 SP1 or higher with Internet Explorer 11 or newer
  • Additional Windows Browsers Supported: Chrome (v64.x and higher); Firefox (v45.x and above)

Non-Inova supported configurations* for remote access:

  • Mac OS X version 10.12 and above
  • Additional Mac Browsers supported: Chrome (v64.x and higher); Firefox (v45.x and above)

If your PC meets the requirements outlined above, a connection client will be provided after successful log on. If you already have a connection client installed, and it is older than the required client, you will be offered the opportunity to upgrade it after successfully logging on.
