Dr. Masooma Raza is a specialty care physician board eligible in obstetrics and gynecology at Inova Health System. She joined Inova in 2022 and has been practicing since 2018.
Previously, Dr. Raza completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA, where she served as Quality and Safety Chief Resident. During her time in residency, Dr. Raza provided comprehensive obstetrical services and specialty gynecologic care to uninsured and low-income patients in Northern Virginia.
Dr. Raza cultivated her passion for women’s health during medical school. She chose to pursue a career in obstetrics and gynecology to educate women about their physical and mental wellness, as well as advocate for their evolving needs over a lifetime. Dr. Raza speaks multiple languages including English, Spanish and Urdu and is dedicated to serving a diverse patient population.
Dr. Raza’s areas of clinical interest include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (including da Vinci robotic surgery and hysteroscopic surgery), complex gynecologic conditions, and high-risk pregnancy.
Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and trying new restaurants and cuisines.
