About Stuart I. Henochowicz, MD

Dr. Stuart Henochowicz is a primary care physician board certified in internal medicine and allergy/immunology at Inova Health System.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Henochowicz was a former chief medical resident at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. He is also the former President of the Greater Washington Asthma, Allergy and Immunology Society.

He completed a combined BS – MD program, earning a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and graduating  summa cum laude from CUNY Brooklyn College and a medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn, NY. He received an MBA from Johns Hopkins University’s business of medicine program. Dr. Henochowicz competed his fellowship in Allergy and immunology at the National Jewish Center and the University of Colorado in Denver. He is a former Assistant Clinical Professor at UMDNJ (now Rutgers New Jersey Medical School) in New Brunswick, NJ, and a former Senior Staff Attending at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.

Dr. Henochowicz is a Clinical Professor in the Division of Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology at Georgetown University Medical School in Washington, DC. He served as the chair of the health and public policy committee at Georgetown University Medical School from 2015 – 2018. He has been a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP) since 1988.
