The recent addition of Inova Alexandria Hospital has allowed for expansion of the podiatric surgical volume available to residents.

Inova Loudoun Hospital, Leesburg, VA 
This hospital, located in one of the fastest-growing counties in Northern Virginia, allows residents opportunities for scrubbing on both podiatric and orthopedic foot and ankle cases, with emphasis on reconstructive and trauma cases.

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital, Fairfax, VA
Residents scrub in on both podiatric and orthopedic foot and ankle surgical cases, with emphasis on reconstructive and trauma cases.

Inova Dorothea R. Fisher Wound Healing Center at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital
Second year residents rotate on a weekly basis through this busy wound care center for hands-on training in wound care.

Inova Surgery Center – Woodburn
This surgery center is located in close proximity to Inova Fairfax Hospital and offers ongoing surgical exposure to residents.

Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA
A level II trauma center, this hospital is a resource for 400,000 residents in a region known as the Top of Virginia. Both second and third year residents live on-location (private housing provide) for one month each. The resident covers all foot and ankle surgery cases (podiatric and orthopedic) both in the hospital and ambulatory surgery center. The resident is also responsible for all hospital and ER calls during his/her rotation.

Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal, VA
Thirty minutes from Winchester Medical Center, residents have the opportunity to cover foot and ankle surgery cases while on their one-month-away rotation.

Office Facilities
Residents are assigned to multiple offices for exposure and familiarity in office procedures, as well as an opportunity to see follow-up on surgical cases.
