Community Access to Care | Inova

As part of Inova’s not-for-profit mission, Inova collaborates with regional partners to offer a number of programs that ensure all community members have access to quality healthcare services. By offering services and programs that help people stay healthy, Inova fosters broad community wellness that enables individuals to live longer, healthier lives. We recognize the diverse needs of our community and have established the following services to meet that need.

As part of Inova's not-for-profit mission we offer adult mental health counseling services for individuals approved through Inova Financial Aid.

Inova Cares Clinic for Women

In collaboration with the City of Alexandria, Fairfax County and Loudoun County health departments, the Inova Cares Clinic for Women provides low-cost or no-cost obstetric and gynecological services for women who are uninsured, underinsured, or insured by Medicaid.

Care Connection for Children

In partnership with the Virginia Department of Health, this program offers free care coordination services, education, and support for families with children who have special healthcare needs.

Inova Healthy Plate Club - Childhood Obesity Prevention

Nutrition education for elementary school-aged children. This program is offered for free to elementary schools in Fairfax County, Loudoun County, and the City of Alexandria that have at least 50 percent of students eligible for free and reduced-price lunch.

Inova Loudoun Hospital Mobile Health Services

Inova Loudoun Mobile Health Services brings health screenings and other preventive wellness efforts into the Loudoun community via a fully equipped bus.

Inova Cares Clinic for Community Bridging

Bridging the gap between illness and recovery.

Elderlink

In collaboration with the Fairfax Area Agency on Aging, ElderLink provides comprehensive assessments for older adults and their caregivers to help determine what type of assistance is needed for each individualized situation.

Inova Ewing FACT Department

Providing specialized forensic medical evaluations services for children and adults who have been victims of violent crime, including sexual assault, domestic violence, physical child abuse, elder physical abuse, strangulation, and human sex trafficking.

Inova Lions Eye Clinic

Providing free eye care to uninsured adult patients who are at or below 200% of the federal poverty line (FPL).

Inova Medical House Calls

Bringing primary care services to homebound patients who are 65 years of age or greater.

Partnership for Healthier Communities

In collaboration with the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services, Virginia Health Care Foundation, and the regional school systems, this program identifies uninsured children and adults, and links them with insurance options.
