Our comprehensive child and adolescent behavioral health programs treat a wide range of conditions to help support youth and their families throughout Northern Virginia. In our outpatient child and adolescent outpatient programs and services located in the Inova Kellar Center two locations, we offer state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment that is tailored to each child’s needs and focuses on symptom reduction stabilization and well-being.
Patients and their families benefit from our range of treatment outpatient programs, or if needed for an adolescent, an interim psychiatric, short-term hospital stay in the circumstance of need for acute psychiatric hospitalization. A key part of our inpatient care is the treatment plan, which focuses on stabilizing any crisis and reintegrating back into the family. Through our careful discharge planning, we assist our patients and family with a plan for follow-up care. This care will be coordinated through your specialist.
Please note: Inpatient adolescent mental health unit admissions are not made through the Inova Kellar Center.
