Cupping

Cupping is a procedure in which a rounded glass cup is warmed and placed upside down over an area of the body, creating suction that holds the cup to the skin. Cupping increases the flow of blood. In traditional Chinese medicine, it is also thought to increase the flow of qi. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

Deep Tissue Massage

Style of massage using strokes and pressure that warms the fascia and soft tissue, to allow for deep penetration into the muscle. This treatment promotes an increase in circulation, encourages quicker muscle recovery and aids in the removal of metabolic waste and adhesions that form in the connective tissue.

Hypervolt Recovery Session

Give your fascial nets a chance to recover and regain mobility and range of motion with a 45 minute total body percussion massage therapy session. In this session the massage therapist will use a percussion massage gun with varying levels of intensity and pressure available to help locate and alleviate fascial knots and stress spots on the body. This is a clothed massage session, but comfortable form-fitting clothing is recommended.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)

Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) is a popular treatment for myofascial restriction. IASTM uses specially designed instruments to provide a mobilizing effect to scar tissue and myofascial adhesions. It is applied using instruments that are usually made of stainless steel with beveled edges and contours that can conform to different body anatomical locations and allows for deeper penetration.

The introduction of controlled microtrauma to affected soft tissue structure causes the stimulation of local inflammatory response. Microtrauma initiates reabsorption of inappropriate fibrosis or excessive scar tissue and facilitates a cascade of healing activities resulting in remodeling of affected soft tissue structures.

Lymphatic Massage

This is a therapeutic style of massage that uses very light pressure and long, gentle, rhythmic strokes to increase the flow of lymph and reduce metabolic waste in your body.
