How can a registered dietitian support you?

A registered dietitian is a food and nutrition expert who has completed academic and professional requirements established by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics.

Our Inova registered dietitians can help you:

  • Prioritize your health by building mindful eating habits
  • Guide you to choose foods that best fit your culture, budget and health
  • Set effective and achievable goals
  • Identify perceived barriers
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks
  • Distinguish health and nutrition facts from diet myths using evidence-informed nutrition guidelines
  • Clients must be located in VA or MD for their virtual nutrition session
