Inova offers merit-based scholarships available on a very limited basis. Nursing excellence scholarships are awarded to Inova nurses enrolled in an accredited ADN, BSN, MSN, DNP or PhD nursing program. We do not offer a scholarship for non-Inova employees at this time.
The following scholarships are available:
• The Inova Nursing Excellence Scholarship: $5,000 award for ADN, BSN, MSN, DNP and PhD programs based on availability, not exceeding the cost of the program
Eligibility requirements
Beginning January 1, 2025, and effective for applications received from Fall 2024 forward:
- Full or part-time employees working in a budgeted, tuition assistance-eligible position at Inova for a minimum of 12 months
- Must be accepted into an accredited ADN, BSN, MSN, DNP or PhD degree program
- Must be prepared to sign a one-year work commitment with Inova
- Supplements any tuition assistance awarded through the employee benefits program at Inova
- Team Member is responsible for tax liabilities incurred by scholarship
- A maximum of one scholarship can be won per degree level.
