Reason for Coming to Inova Alexandria Hospital: I chose Inova Alexandria Hospital because it is a community hospital with the opportunity to be directly involved in patient care. The program offers various electives, including NICU and OR pharmacy, with additional options to fit my interests. I was also very interested in the longitudinal wellness experience where residents from Alexandria and Mount Vernon campuses get together with the director and preceptors for wellness activities outside the hospital. Everyone has been so welcoming and supportive since my interview, and I am excited to be part of the team.

Pharmacy School: University of Colorado
Practice Areas of Interest: Critical care, ambulatory care, internal medicine and infectious disease
Reason for coming to Inova Alexandria Hospital: I was interested in working at a community hospital because I have always wanted to be familiar with my team and other staff around the hospital. I think that doing this helps to build professional relationships, fosters a learning environment and facilitates quality patient care. It was also very appealing that Inova Alexandria Hospital offered a wide variety of rotations so I can grow my professional knowledge of pharmacy more efficiently on my way to becoming a clinical pharmacist.
