Reason for coming to Inova Alexandria Hospital: I was drawn to Inova Alexandria Hospital because I was interested in a community hospital that has a strong pharmacy presence, in which pharmacists are able to make a difference in the care of patients. The program offered me a variety of rotations that fit my interests, and I was able to build a relationship with the incredible team through my fourth-year rotations. They are invested in our growth as pharmacists and individuals, and I feel incredibly supported. I am confident this program will provide me a strong foundation for success as a clinical pharmacist, no matter what field I go into.

Practice Areas of Interest: Critical Care, Infectious Disease, Transitions of Care
Reason for coming to Inova Alexandria Hospital: I knew a smaller community hospital was a good fit for me because I am able to easily build strong relationships with my colleagues and providers. The program offers several areas of practice I am interest in, and also offers other rotations I am excited to explore, such as NICU and OR pharmacy. The team here is very supportive and willing to help guide the residents grow and learn throughout the year. This program was the best choice for me and aligns with my future career goals as a clinical pharmacist.
