New Moms – Inova Oakville Health Center (Rt. 1 - Potomac Landing)

Directions to room: The above address takes you directly to the entrance to the parking garage. Follow signage to Inova parking. Please pull a parking ticket, park in the garage on the P1 level, use the ticket to scan into the Inova P1 Parking area on the right and take the blue elevator to level 1. Once there, head to the main conference room to the left once you get off the elevator. Parking will need to be validated either at the ED Registration desk or the Imaging Office Registration desk right next door to the conference room.
 

Breastfeeding Latch Check – Inova Alexandria Hospital

When: Every Monday from 2 – 3 p.m. (groups and classes cancelled during holiday weeks)  
Address: 4320 Seminary Rd., Alexandria, VA 22304 
NOTE: Only female participants permitted at latch check classes. Male support persons are kindly asked to wait in the hospital lobby.

Directions to room: The Latch Check occurs in the Lactation Boutique outside the postpartum unit on the 3rd floor. Park in the patient parking lot and enter Alexandria hospital through the visitor entrance. Take the elevators up to the 3rd floor. The Lactation Boutique is on the left outside of the postpartum unit. For any questions call 703-504-7864.

Every Monday in the Cancer Center Building at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (groups and classes cancelled during holiday weeks)

Breastfeeding Latch Check: Participation is free and registration is not required. Classes take place in a group setting, females only please. Every Monday, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.(groups and classes cancelled during holiday weeks) Address: Cancer Center Building, 3580 Joseph Siewick Dr., Conference Room C and D, Fairfax, VA 22033

Directions to room: Park in the small, gated lot between buildings 3580 and 3600. When entering building 3580, take elevator down to lower level for conference room C.

Breastfeeding Support Group and Latch Checks:
Participation is free and registration is not required. Classes take place in a group setting. Females only please.

Directions: Park in Green Garage and enter through door 81. Parking in the Green garage is complimentary. Inova patients meet on the 5th floor lobby of the women's and children's tower.

Breastfeeding Support Group:

Our IBCLC certified lactation consultants will facilitate the group for Inova patients. Breastfeeding moms can connect with each other while feeding their baby. Scales available for weighted feeds.

Directions to room: From the South entrance, park in lot F on Innovation Park Drive. The entrance for building 8100 is located under the sky bridge through either set of double glass doors. The F lot will be the closest parking lot to our entrance. Take elevators down to LL and enter Studio 3 via the gym. Overflow parking is also available in lot D on Peterson Discovery Drive, which can be accessed through the North entrance.

Working Moms Group:

A relaxed space for mothers preparing for maternity leave, balancing work during pregnancy, returning to work postpartum, or seeking community while navigating life and motherhood.

Every second Saturday of the month at the Inova Center for Personalized Health from 10:30 to 12 p.m. (groups and classes cancelled during holiday weeks)

Directions to room: From the South entrance, park in lot F on Innovation Park Drive. The entrance for building 8100 is located under the sky bridge through either set of double glass doors. The F lot will be the closest parking lot to our entrance. Once inside the building, there will be elevators to your left. Take the elevators to floor 2. Exit the elevator and take a left. When you see Conference Room 2, take a left and Conference Room 1 is at the end of the hallway. Overflow parking is also available in lot D on Peterson Discovery Drive, which can be accessed through the North entrance.
